The Ride

highway

stretching ahead

stretching behind

i don't know how long the ride will be

i don't want to know

it would ruin the feeling

the feeling of just driving

watching the trees roll by

sitting in the back seat

my legs curlled under me

the gentle bump of the ride

coaxing my eyes to close.
